Rena Demeo is an ice swimmer from Nahant, Massachusetts.  She is the Vice Chair of IISA USA as well as a level one observer, an IISA Official Event Director, and the Country Administrator.

She did her first official Ice Mile in December of 2014 and has been helping people safely achieve their icy dreams ever since. Rena has some physical limitations that make it easier to swim in the ice than to walk on it.

Ice swimming has changed the trajectory of her life.  She has made some of the greatest friendscicles through ice swimming. It has brought her to parts of the world she never would have seen were it not for ice swimming. She believes that anyone with proper training, knowledge, and cold water can be an ice swimmer.
