Charlotte Brynn

Charlotte is a native of New Zealand and now resides in Vermont where she is the long serving Director of The Swimming Hole Non-Profit Community Pool & Fitness Center in Stowe Vermont. Charlotte is also the director and owner of BRYNNSWIM Open Water Swim Company that offers 1:1 Coaching, Swim Lessons, Small Group Clinics and Piloted Solo Swims in Vermont. She also runs Swim Tech Camp focused on helping swimmers with their technique.

Charlotte is passionate about the water; she grew up swimming in the glacial lakes of New Zealand. Since then, she has completed over 75 Marathon swims including epic swims like Around Atlantic City Marathon swim, the 32-mile length of Lake George and the Catalina Channel. No swim is easy, or the same and Charlotte has dedicated her life to help  others find their flow in the water both mentally and physically resulting in major gains in efficiency, speed, and  enjoyment.

Charlotte has a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, is a  Level 2 ASCA Certified Coach, Level 4 USMS Coach, CertifiedAdult learn to swim instructor, Personal Trainer, and Pool Operator. She is a 12-time long distance All American and was named by the World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) in the 50 Most Adventurous Open Water Women list in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019  

In 2018 the World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) named Charlotte as one of the top women open water coaches and mentors in the world.
