Chris is the Chair of the Surfrider Foundation’s Massachusetts Chapter and is the Eastern Policy and Conservation Manager for another national environmental conservation nonprofit. He is a passionate ocean advocate and believes strongly that all people should have access to the ocean, waves, and beaches.

Chris is always outside and usually in or around the water surfing or fishing. On a rare occasion, you might even find him swimming. Although he has received USMS All-American Honors for open water swimming and has found similar success in other endurance pursuits involving the water, if he is sporting a cap and goggles, chances are he’s training alongside friends in preparation of their next big swim or involved in some sort of ill-conceived (undocumented) adventure swim.
