Jack Fabian, PH.D.

Jack Fabian, Ph.D., is a retired Molecular Biologist and a distinguished coach in both collegiate and international open water swimming. From 2007 to 2016, he served as a USA Swimming National Team coach. He led Team USA as the head open water coach at the World Championships in Shanghai, China (2011), and the Pan American Games in Toronto (2015). Notably, he coached his daughter, Eva Fabian, to National and World Championships in open water swimming.

In addition to his work with Team USA, Jack has coached international swimmers from Australia and Israel in FINA World Cup open water races. As an NCAA Division III head coach, he guided swimmers to 23 All-American and 23 Honorable Mention All-American honors.

Currently, Jack coaches a small team of masters swimmers in Keene and provides swim video analysis for swimmers in New England and triathletes remotely through the Tower 26 program.
